SEMCOG and the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition will host at a public meeting in Monroe County seeking input for the next economic development strategy for Southeast Michigan. During the meeting, attendees will be asked to provide input and share thoughts on a range of strategies that are important to attracting, retaining, and growing businesses and jobs.

Please join us at an interactive public meeting focusing on these three important factors:

  • Community Assets
  • People/Talent
  • Business Climate

Meeting participants will have the opportunity to discuss a number of the strategies that are important elements for Southeast Michigan’s desirability as a place to live, work, and conduct business. These include:

  • Enhancing Transportation Connections
  • Strengthening Quality of Place
  • Shaping Responsive Government
  • Retooling Our Workforce
  • Marketing The Region
