Monroe County BDC and County Partners Agree to Collaborate on Business Attractions for Southeast Michigan

On March 31, Monroe County Business Development Corporation and other economic development organizations representing Southeast Michigan signed an agreement to continue to collaborate on business attraction efforts. These efforts will be designed to bring increased national and foreign investment to the region.

The regional partners involved include: Ann Arbor SPARK, Detroit Economic Growth Corp., Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County, Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce, Lapeer Development Corp., Lenawee Economic Development Corp., Macomb County Department of Planning and Economic Development, Monroe County Business Development Corp., Oakland County Department of Economic Development and Community Affairs, Shiawassee Economic Development Partnership and Wayne County Economic Development.

By promoting our Regional Assets we become a much contender for capital investments that companies are making throughout the world”, said Tim Lake President and CEO of the Monroe County Business Development Corporation.
