Monroe County Moves Toward Recovery

Business and life as we know it has been brutally disrupted by COVID-19. During this time, though, we are learning the crucial business skill of navigating through uncertainty. We have learned what we can control and what we cannot. Business leaders who are best at managing in uncertain times prioritize diverse inputs, teamwork and partnerships. These leaders assemble the best team they can, and trust that team to find the information they need to get through disruptions.

With Michigan reopening most businesses, we, at the BDC, will be returning to the office on Monday, June 15th. The weekly COVID-19 newsletter that we have been publishing since the onset of this pandemic will now be discontinued; we will return to our once-a-month newsletter publishing schedule focused on programs to assist with business recovery. We will continue to keep you up-to-date on new happenings so please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. Also, we will keep updating our COVID-19 website page with new information as it becomes available.

Since 1982, we have established partnerships and relationships with local, state and federal agencies to assist you as we work through these uncertain times. Our staff may be reached via phone at 734-241-8081 or by email. We look forward to hearing from you and assisting with your strategy to adapt, survive, and succeed.

As your business reopens, we wish you success in your new normal. We are thankful for you and your business in Monroe County and are always here to offer our support and service.
