A historic office building in downtown Monroe is becoming a new home to several community, nonprofit organizations. Although we are moved in, we are only in the beginning stages of improvements and ideas to build out this shared office environment.
“We are excited to partner together in this space” said Tim Lake, President and CEO of the BDC. “Our organizations share many of the same key stakeholders so any chance to share costs allows us to utilize more resources on initiatives that help execute the mission and vision of each organization. We have worked together on a variety of community projects in the past and it is great to have everyone together.”
We will be holding an Open House on Wednesday, September 22, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. Stop by and take a tour of the new home for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Child Care Network, Community Foundation of Monroe County, and the BDC.
